He convinces with the typical characteristics of the island. Strong peat smoke and a light medicinal notes combine with sweet malt, vanilla and the aroma of smoked ham.
Unfortunately, the distillery from which this single malt comes is not named, but one thing is certain: the price-performance ratio for this Islay whiskey is right.
TASTING NOTES
Colour: Copper, Rich gold.
Aroma: Strong campfire aroma, sweet peat smoke and vanilla. An elegant maritime note of salt hovers over it.
Taste: Strong and smoky on the tongue. Sweet malt and smoked ham are balanced by pears, peat and some iodine.
Finish: Long and smoky with more peat.
It is bottled at 40.0% vol.
