The Glenlivet DISTILLER'S RESERVE Triple Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky gains its special, sweet and at the same time spicy taste from a maturation that takes place in 3 different casks.
This Glenlivet matures in traditional oak casks, then in an American white oak cask and finally in ex-sherry casks.
Due to the different merging of the barrels, an exceptional and unique taste is pre-programmed for each of the three whiskies.
Colour: Light gold.
Nose: Sweet, pear, butterscotch, caramel.
Taste: Spicy oranges, dark chocolate, pears.
Finish: Long lasting, hazelnuts, marzipan.
