Stauning Rye Danish Whisky is made from 51% rye malt and 49% barley malt.
All these ingredients come from the local malt floor and are produced using traditional production methods in Stauning Distillery itself.
This whisky requires a spirit of adventure, and malting rye, as in this case, is considered a rather unusual method.

Colour: Amber.
Nose: fresh bread, pepper, gum.
Flavour: Ripe and dried fruit, oak, cherry, citrus, vanilla.
Finish: Long lasting, soft, sweet and fruity, pepper.
