Rammstein Rum Limited Edition Port Cask Finish is a unique blend of rums tropically aged up to 12 years. 

This limited edition received an additional maturation for eleven months in ex-port wine casks. The result is a perfectly balanced rum with delicate notes of lush red fruits, dark chocolate and tobacco from the port wine casks. 

This release is limited to 9.378 bottles.

Founded in East Berlin in 1994, today Rammstein is regarded as one of the most successful international bands, achieving 7-digit album and DVD sales. In the course of their 20-year career, the musicians were nominated twice for the Grammy, headlined all major music festivals and sold out arenas all over the world. Still with all its original members, Rammstein’s status as an unrivaled live band is due to its unique (trying to copy it is not recommended) stage show: a fierce rock opera – dramatic, spectacular, epic in scale and touching all senses; a dark fairy tale pervaded with controversy and the all-consuming smell of benzine.

This Rammstein rum is a balanced blend of Jamaican and Guyanese pot still rum and coloumn still rum from Trinidad. Guyanese and Jamaican rums are valued by masterblenders and experts alike for their heavy bodies and deep aromas. The strong characters of both pot still rums are tamed by the elegant nature og their Trinidadian counterpart. This limited edition has matured in ex-Bourbon barrels for up to 12 years, and received a finish in ex-Port wine barrels.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Delicate aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherries, plums and blackberries with a nice touch of oak.
Palate: Fruity and mild with complex notes of dark chocolate, dried tobacco and oak.
