There is one important step that turns a bourbon into a Tennessee whiskey: the charcoal melting.
In this process, the freshly distilled whiskey seeps drop by drop through a three meter thick layer of charcoal from the sugar maple.
The aging process in the barrel is just as special as the Gentleman Jack’s filtering process. Only our own barrels made from the best American white oak are used for this.

The insides of the barrels are carefully 'toasted' to caramelize the natural sugars in the wood.
After aging in casks, this Tennessee Whiskey undergoes Charcoal Mellowing for the second time.
This is how the Gentleman Jack not only gets its unmistakably gentle aroma, it also becomes one thing above all: unique worldwide.
