Dictador XO Perpetual / Aurum 40% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

Dictador XO Perpetual / Aurum is a 35-year-old Colombian rum with an ABV of 40%. 

The "Dictador Solera XO Aurum" consists of a syrupy sugar cane derivative called Virgin Sugar Cane Honey, which is obtained from the juice of the first pressing by heating and filtering. Usually rums are from  Guatemala,  known to be based on the sugar cane honey. 

After fermentation, distillation takes place in an antique Alembic Copper Still. 

The young rum then spends several years maturing in used oak barrels using the Solera method.

Colour: mahogany.
Nose: Toasted honey, coffee, toffee, dark chocolate, hints of oak.
Taste: Soft, butterscotch, coffee, dark chocolate.
Finish: Long lasting, notes of oak.
