Absolut Vodka is the third largest brand of spirits in the world. 

Absolut Vodka is made from southern Swedish winter wheat and pure spring water.

The spring water is scooped from a deep well in Åhus, where it is protected from dirt and contamination. 

The winter wheat also comes from the town of Åhus.

Andy Warhol is one of the most influential American commercial artists, filmmakers and artists. 

Already in 1986 he created the first artwork that was used in Absolut television commercials. 

He was the first artist to create an original artwork for Absolut. 

Warhol's idea was to create a work of art as the basis for the Absolut bottle. 

As this campaign became an absolute success, the president of the Absolut company, Michael Roux, decided that Warhol should select other artists for this project. 

After Warhol's first work, another 850 artists followed who worked with Absolut.
