It is a single cask bottling that is limited to 300 bottles.
This single cask whiskey from the Scottish Highlands matures for 12 years and then receives a Cadillac Cask Finish in barrel number 303776.
It was distilled on April 6th, 2010 and bottled in July 2022.
The Dailuaine 12 Years 2010/2022 Cadillac Wine Cask Finish Spirit & Cask Range comes with a strong 51.5% vol. bottled.
As always in the Spirit & Cask range, there is no chill filtration or coloring. The cask brings sweet and fruity notes to the single malt.
Tasting notes
Color: Amber.
Aroma: Sweet fruit notes with hints of nuts.
Taste: Full-bodied and balanced on the tongue. Initially fruity and sweet again, with exotic fruits. Then spicier with noble spices and malt sweets.
Finish: Long-lasting and fruity. Notes of candied fruit and fine spices are also evident on the finish.
