Ried Sulz is characterized by cool clayey marl soil in combination with a warm microclimate. The vines grow in a closed mountain basin with a South – Southwestern exposition which is a playfield for Burgundy varieties.

Deep, juicy aromas paired with silky elegance are the impressive result after a 24-month aging in neutral barrels. Compact acidity is combined with mineral profundity creating a great food companion.

Ageing potential of 15 years and more.
