Kracher Beerenauslese Zweigelt 2020 9,5% Vol. 0,375l

The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. 

The family business, which is under the management of Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen and ice wines. In the vineyards are grown Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and also Zweigelt grapes. 

Due to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first class.

Tasting notes:

Light crimson. Scent of ripe strawberries and heart cherries. 

On the palate, aromas of red currants and sour cherry compote, sweet strawberry confit, clear red wine character. 

Delicate hints of citrus and fine rum pot fruit notes on the finish.

Grape variety: Zweigelt.
Aging: Fermented in new barriques and aged for 5 months.
Residual sugar: 162,6 g/l.
Acidity: 6,7 g/l.
Closure: Natural cork.
Drinking temperature: 10-12°C.
