The Glen Elgin 14 Year Old 2007/2022 Marsala Cask Finish was released by independent bottler James Eadie.

The single malt was distilled in 2007 and matured a 25-month post-maturation in a 1st fill Marsala cask. This created the wonderfully fruity aromas.

Tasting notes

Color: Amber.
Aroma: Acacia honey and sweet vanilla harmonize with ripe fruit and spicy oak. Mild herbs in the background.
Taste: Full-bodied and soft on the tongue. First again ripe red fruits and honey, followed by toffee with nuances of citrus fruits.
Finish: Long-lasting, with cherries and fruit compote, as well as exotic spices.

Staining and cold filtration were omitted.
