Andrea Da Ponte Golden Rive Distilled Gin 41,7% Vol. 0,7l

Distillation traditions stretching back more than 130 years are behind this exclusive, original gin. It’s expertly distilled by Andrea Da Ponte using a still that was specially designed to make this exquisite spirit.

Fresh and intense, on the palate it calls to mind the floral characteristics of the famous sparkling wine that – like our DISTILLED GIN – is made in the renowned Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills, which are known locally as RIVE.

No fewer than five botanicals can be found in this gin: juniper (balsamic notes), lemon peel (fresh citrus notes), pears and Glera grapes (fruity and fragrant notes) and camomile (pleasantly sweet notes).

In late summer, bunches of golden Glera grapes grow all over the gorgeous hills that are known locally as Rive. After they’re picked, they’re used to make one of the most famous sparkling wines in the world…

TASTING TIPS

This gin is ideal in all types of cocktails. When making Gin and Tonic, we recommend using Indian tonic water to bring out the best of the fresh, citrus notes. If you want to showcase the fruity, floral notes typically associated with the grapes, we recommend elderflower tonic water.
