Albert Bacon Blanton is the forefather of the distillery.
Today, Blanton, or the Buffalo Trace Distillery, has 144 buildings and is one of the largest distilleries anywhere.
This handcrafted Kentucky whiskey is released in limited bottles and was once reserved only for ambassadors, dignitaries of the Blanton family and their friends.
Blanton’s are always pure in nature and never blended.

The cask data is still written by hand on the label.

Colour: Amber.
Nose: Creamy vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, hints of spices like cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon.
Taste: Strong, sweet, balanced, notes of citrus, oak, butterscotch.
Finish: Long lasting.

Best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
