Austrian Empire Navy OLOROSO CASK 49,5% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Austrian Empire Navy Rum does not come from Austria, as the name suggests - but from Great Britain. There this rum is produced by the Albert Michler Distillery. Already in 1863 this distillery was a supplier of spirits to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.

Albert Michler's Oloroso Double Cask Edition is a Caribbean rum that matures in ex-Bourbon barrels and 12-16 months in American ex-Oloroso Sherry barrels.
The maturation of the up to 21 year old rum is done according to the Solera method.

Colour: Dark gold.
Nose: Perfectly balanced, oloroso aromas, sugar cane.
Taste: Sweet, mature oak, notes of fruit, herbs, chocolate, dried fruit.
Finish: Long lasting, smooth.
